In this poetry selection is a poem by "Ah Hai" from Peking University (阿海（北京大學）), enrolled in 1981 (一九八一級), with an author profile at the end of the poem, which stated that he was born in 1964, his hometown is Ningbo, Zhejiang, he had graduated from the Department of History at Peking University in 1985, and his Chinese name is 桂敏海 (Guì Mǐnhǎi). This shows that his original Chinese name is 桂敏海 (Guì Mǐnhǎi), not 桂民海 (Guì Mínhǎi). A scan of the page is here.
